The Ayurvedic Medical institute is dedicated to the achievement of excellence in both Ayurvedic Education and Research. The College offers 5 1/2 years Degree Course of B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery). The college is affiliated with Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur.

The College Library is very spacious and having more than 9700 Books, 780 Journals & about 1100 Magazines on Ayurvedic and Allied Medicines. The college library has spacious reading hall. In addition to Books & Journals, a wide range of reference materials, textbooks, news papers are subscribed to meet the needs of the students .

The College not only provides good clinical facilities to the students, but also organises various kinds of academic activities including the State and National level seminars and workshops to enrich the academic experience of our students.

The faculty of the college consists of carefully selected senior teachers with strong research orientation. The college has separate hostels for girls and boys. It is therefore no wonder that the College attracts students from all the parts of India.

The aim of the College is to produce graduates of profound scholarship having in depth scientific knowledge of ayurveda in accordance with the ayurvedic fundamentals associated with extensive practical training, who would be efficient teachers, research workers, Kaya Chikitaka (Physician) and Shalya Chikitaka (Surgeon) with the sole object of reviving and developing the Indian System of Medicine.
